The HiPEAC conference is the premier scientific network forum for
experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers and
operating systems for embedded and general-purpose systems.  Emphasis
is given on cross-cutting research (embedded/high performance,
architecture/software stack, etc.) and innovative ideas (new
programming models, novel architecture approaches to cope with
technology constraints or new technologies, etc.). The conference
hosts a number of associated workshops, tutorials, a large poster
session and an exhibition that run in parallel with the conference.

LOCATION

The 9th HiPEAC conference will take place in the Vienna Marriott Hotel
in Vienna, Austria, from Monday, January 20 to Wednesday, January 22,
2014.  The hotel is located on the elegant Ringstrasse close to the
city park and within walking distance to the regional train and subway
stop "Vienna City Center/Wien Mitte/Wien Landstr," which is the final
destination of the City Airport Train (CAT) and a stop of the train
line S7 departing both at Vienna Airport. The hotel is also within
walking distance to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the opera, theaters,
museums, shopping streets and other major attractions of Vienna.
