A postdoc position is available at Northeastern University, to work on research projects related to testing and analysis of asynchronous software.

 A postdoc position is available at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, to work on research projects related to testing and analysis of asynchronous software. Topics of interest include: static and dynamic program analysis, development of test coverage metrics and test generation techniques, and tools for detecting bugs and performance bottlenecks (all in the context of asynchronous and event-driven software).

 

The position is initially for one year, starting in late 2019 or early 2020, and can be extended by mutual consent.  

 

The requirements for the position are:

* a PhD in Computer Science or related area

* demonstrated experience and skills in one or more of the research topics mentioned above

* a publication record that includes publications in premier venues in Software Engineering and/or Programming Languages

* strong systems/programming skills
