Tenure-Track Faculty Positions at Stevens Institute of Technology

The Department of Computer Science in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science at Stevens Institute of Technology (New York City area) invites applications for five (5) tenure-track and tenured positions in all areas of computer science at the assistant, associate, and full professor ranks. Exceptional candidates will be considered for the additional role of David and GG Farber Chair. 

This year our priorities are in systems, security, and human-centered computing, which are areas we plan to grow aided by enthusiastic new faculty. Strong candidates in all areas will also be considered. Our junior faculty are supported by formal and informal mentoring on all aspects of academic life, focusing on their success but also with an eye on work-life balance. Headquartered in a brand new, 65,000 square foot, state-of-the-art academic building, our department is home to innovative research labs on AI, machine learning, computer vision, big data analytics, programming languages, cryptography, computer security, and software systems. Our researchers are the core of the Stevens Institute for Artificial Intelligence, an interdisciplinary research center at the forefront of AI that brings together over 100 faculty members across the University.
