PhD position on Program Analysis for Smart Contracts at the Vienna University of Technology

Profile:

- Completion of an excellent Master’s degree in Computer Science

- Experience with software development and developing research prototypes

- Experience in scientific work

- Strong background in at least one of the following areas: automated test generation (e.g., dynamic symbolic execution, greybox fuzzing), static program analysis (e.g., abstract interpretation), and software verification (e.g., software model checking)

- Strong interest in working on program analysis for smart contracts

- Excitement about research and work with students

- Organizational and analytical skills as well as a structured way of working

- Ability to work in a team, problem-solving skills, and creative thinking

- Excellent skills in English communication and writing
